So we pulled this one out just to try it. We watch the Kacho do this on Retro Game Master (Gamecenter CX) and we wanted to see how difficult it would be…. GOD DAMN IT is it difficult! I want to beat it but need to master the controls first. AI doesn’t help that it’s sometimes stupid.

I finally finished the main story of Tenchu Z. The game is a lot of fun and a bit difficult. It does get easier over time as you learn the quirks of dealing with each kind of enemy with the combat system. Still I find it hard that the final two battles pits you in a melee battle between a gun wielder and another ninja. Funny… this is the same problem you run into in Deus Ex where your built out for stealth but forced into a really bad combat situation. Though an interesting strategy will be to drag the boss to the roof and then try to knock him into the water

I didn’t enjoy my first experience with Touhou since someone had me try it on the harder difficulty. I wasn’t always a fan of bullet hell games but for some reason Touhou drew me in. It must be the music since I really enjoy it. So far I’ve been able to get to Sakuya, the 4th boss in the game however I can’t beat her just yet. I’m getting better at the game though the control method (360 controller) isn’t as precise as I want it to be. I’m going to beat this game!

OMG… You must play this game! The minute you set foot in this world you easily fall head first into the atmosphere and get sucked in. The first night I played it, quiet literally 3a.m. in the morning it released and the next thing I knew it was time for work. The game’s atmosphere gives the feel of Blade Runner and it’s not far from it. The world feels alive with all the little details you can sneak and hack your way into and the stealth is a lot of fun! Slipping into a building unnoticed and dispatching guards without the others noticing. I guess that’s why Tenchu Z really drew me in.
